Digital Marketing and Content Marketing Assistant

Job Purpose 

To support the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with our communitiesAssist with the planning and monitoring the ongoing company presence through campaigns and collateral. Launching optimized advertisements to increase company and brand awareness. 

Job Brief 

Your role will support our global marketing design materials, feed them to social medial to make our channels active and feed through to sale. You will help to implement our marketing strategy by supporting our marketing team and reporting to the Marketing Manager. 

Duties 

Digital marketing (80%) 

  • Create, develop and manage digital marketing campaigns  
  • Write and optimise content for social networking accounts and website(s) 
  • Provide creative idea and develop the idea by designing the materials, including picture, posters, e-newsletters and videos  
  • Write copy for email marketing campaigns 
  • Manage and maintain the company’s website(s) 
  • Assist with the collation of information for promotional literature 
  • Upload material to the social media pages, website, online libraries and marketing department databases 
  • Launch optimized online adverts though Google AdWords, Facebook etc. to increase company and brand awareness 
  • Be actively involved in SEO efforts  
  • Measure and evaluate marketing campaigns using tracking and analytical software and assess the results 
  • Assist the marketing manager and marketing team to provide the online marketing information and materials  

Offline marketing (20%) 

  • Create and manage the production of marketing materials, including posters, flyers, newsletters, e-newsletters and videos for global marketing 
  • Organise and attend events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions 
  • Help with presentations by assembling videos, slideshows and analyses of competitors 

Skills and Competencies 

  • Educated to Bachelors or Master’s Degree  
  • 1 – 2 –year experience in digital marketing, content marketing and graphic designer are advanced 
  • Fluency in English language 
  • IT and designing skills: You will need proficiency in MS Office packages and often Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and video editing software  
  • Excellent written and oral skills: you will be called upon to write online or hard copy content for campaigns, so you will need strong copywriting skills. You will also have to regularly deal with clients and suppliers, face to face or on the phone 
  • Video editing skills: Website and social media content will not just be text but frequently visual as well 
  • Great interpersonal skills: you need to build relationships with a wide variety of people. A personable manner, a proclivity for team-working and adaptability are all important 
  • Organisational skills: you have to work on multiple projects, meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy 
  • Creative skill: you need to provide creative ideas and develop the idea by designing the materials
